Associate Members

Non- Profit organisations with maritime interest are welcome to join the Maritime Friends as Associate Members so that their members can gain the benefits of normal members.

Associate members receive the standard individual benefits which are available to any member on production of the membership card, plus additional benefits.

Museum Shop Discounts ?

? A 10% discount on Museum shop purchases on production of a current membership card. ?

Museum Newsletter ?

? Free delivery of the Museum of Wellington's newsletter, detailing up to date exhibitions, news and events. ?

Programme of Activities ?

? Every month a lectures is held at the Museum of Wellington, with a light supper provided at minimal cost. Visits to ships and field trips also occur throughout the year. ?

Reciprocal Benefits at the NZ National Maritime Museum ?

? These include: free admission, 20% discount to accompanying members of your party, 20% discount on all museum vessel sailing, discounted admission to public lectures, special exhibitions, etc, at least 5% discount on hire of the Maritime Room or galleries, charter of museum vessels, etc, and 20% discount in the museum cafe'. ?

Discounted Fee for Members ?

? Members of associate member organisations receive a 50% discount on the Friends' membership fee when joining as an individual associate member of the Friends. Individual associate members do not recieve voting rights. ?
